Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item upgrading, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade item process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several methods to get the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item upgrading reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item level upgrade. These include the item type (either weapon or armor), the level of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
