The anime series is a remake manga Cerebus Syndrome. However, the animation is different. It skips some of its comedy episodes and focuses more upon character development. It also cuts out some action.

The Perils of Pauline (1914).

Originally a 20-episode serial, The Perils of Pauline is one of the most viewed silent films of all time. Pearl White stars as the always-infected heroine. She must defend herself from an evil "guardian", who plans to kill her on a regular basis.

Harry Marvin (Crane Wilbur) is the son of a rich man. He wants to marry Pauline however she is seeking independence. They are both horrified by Pauline's choice. They hatch a stupid murder plot. Harry is an uncontrollable jerk and does not want Pauline dead. He treats her like a naughty child. He's also as stupid as James Bond.

Louis J. Gasnier directed Louis J. Gasnier directed The Perils of Pauline. It was also modified in France for a release in 28mm. It was selected for the National Film Registry. The movie was revived by Universal Studios in 1967 as an updated comedy. It was also rereleased by Paramount Pictures in 1947 as an Betty Hutton vehicle.

Emma discovers that her family members have kept things from her. When she returns to her home, she discovers that someone had left her the canonizing bracelet that protects people from being magically cursed. But she also finds a knife hidden camera in the cuff.

While the episode is good, Realitykings I don't think the novelty is worth the effort. If you're only interested in the legendary 'Hat Trick', this isn't for you.
