These findings have implications for pedagogy for L2 Korean assessment and teaching.
The MQ data was analyzed in order to identify the participants' practical choices. The data was classified according to Ishihara (2010)'s definition of pragmatic resistance. Then, we compared the selections with their linguistic performance on the DCTs in order to determine if they were indicative of pragmatic resistance. The interviewees also had to explain the reasons for choosing an atypical behavior 프라그마틱 슈가러쉬 in certain situations.

The results of the coding process were contrasted with the original RI transcripts, giving an indication of how the RIs were able to capture the fundamental behaviors.

The interviewees expressed concerns about the social pressures and penalties they could be subject to in the event that their local social norms were not followed. They were concerned that their native counterparts may view them as "foreignersand consider them unintelligent. This was a concern similar to the concerns voiced by Brown (2013) and Ishihara (2009).
These findings suggest that native-speaker pragmatic norms are not the preferred choice of Korean learners. They may still be useful for official Korean proficiency tests. But it would be prudent for future researchers to reconsider their usefulness in particular situations and in various cultural contexts. This will allow them to better understand how different cultural environments could affect the practical behavior of students in the classroom and beyond.
