The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do, to map your home.

It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and bob Robot vacuum rice or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can remove pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, Bob robot vacuum removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot vacuum cleaner with mop.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
